How many times can someone say “hi” and “welcome”? It’s been so long since I’ve started a blog, that I may be a little effusive in my welcomes and excitement, but don’t let that scare you off! I’d like to say that this kind of excitement is not a normal thing for me, but that would be a lie.
What can you expect from this page? Well, I’m hoping that I’ll be posting reviews and other bookish/life thoughts on this blog. I say “hoping” because I know I’ll be a little intermittent at first, but bear with me. (I figure that if I set expectations low now, there’s nowhere to go but up, right?) I’d love to get to know you – so please comment or email! If you want to keep up with what I’m reading and haven’t written a review on – or just want to know what this crazy woman reads because you think I’m insane but fun, head over to my Goodreads or my bookish IG and friend me!
This site started as an idea last year – last August to be exact (at least that’s what the dates say on the posts) – and I wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to take this in, since I couldn’t get this to work like I wanted. I had a whole vision where the reviews would be on one page and posts would be on another, but I just couldn’t figure out how to make that work on here, so I put it aside until I could figure it out… and then realized that if I keep waiting, I’ll never do anything with it. So here we are. Almost a year later and I’m finally posting and will hit “publish.” That’s a slightly scary thought – the site will no longer say “Coming Soon” – eek!
So, welcome to my little corner of the bookish internet and I hope that a) I’ll keep this going and b) I’ll see you around here and get to know you.
